I don't think it ever got above freezing when I was out there, but was rewarded with back-to-back solid rainbows of 18 and 19 inches. If you can brave the elements, some very nice fish can be had in the cold months. That's the way to start off the New Year!

A few of us took off and hit the Klick in south eastern Wa a week ago.. Was a good time with Thurman and his Dad Kevin having the best stretch of river.. I believe the landed 4 in the boat and lost a few others... Jeff had a really nice one on his spey rig the first day but it came undone.. Second day we floated down with the guys from the Evening hatch.. Good group of guides... Was slow fishing, sunny and warm out.. might of put the fish off a little.. All in all a good time, few small smolt caught, some dam big white fish, one king that broke my Dad's line and a few steelies (potential) lost... Had a new guy out with us, Jason.. Unfortunately he didn't get to feel the tug of a Steelie, but did land a whitey... Here is a few pics, Thurman should have some video ready in a few days...
